It is no secret that stress can manifest itself in physical ways. Doctors often say that high stress levels often lead to adverse health effects. According to studies, vision problems and even vision loss can also be brought on by too much stress.

Stress-Related Vision Problems
Sensitivity to Light
You may experience some pain or discomfort when there is too much bright light, making it difficult to concentrate and focus.
Dry or Wet Eyes
One or the other can be a symptom; however, this can also be caused by other health issues.
Eye Twitching
You may experience random spasming on one or both eyes. This is usually not painful, but can be very annoying.
Blurry Vision
Sudden blurriness of vision is also common. If you have any other symptoms, we recommend that you see an eye doctor.
Eye Strain
You may feel your eyes strain even if you are wearing your eyeglasses.
Eye Floaters
Tiny spots that swim across your vision may also manifest themselves.
Luckily, most of these issues are temporary provided that they are truly stress-related. Once the stressors are removed, then the symptoms should abate. While some of these symptoms can be a bit disconcerting, the good news is that all you have to do is reduce your stress levels whenever possible. Try to do activities that you find enjoyable, exercise and get enough sleep, and your vision should be back to normal in no time.
